Let 's all remember the Family's of those who were killed and wounded today , on the Largest Army Base in the world ! Our Thoughts and Prayers to you ,,Fort Hood !!

We have lost yet another local hero! He was Army Specialist Brandon Steffey who was killed yesterday by a road side bomb. Steffey grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and graduated from Brimley High School in 2005.

The 23-year-old joined the Army in 2006 and served two tours of duty as a K-9 handler. Steffey has a young daughter in Texas.

As of tonight, i have changed my mind. I WILL BE SEEKING RE-ELECTION FOR THE STATE PRESIDENT POSITION.

I would just like to take a minute to thank all the members of Forgotten Eagles that helped make the kareoke contest a big success. Not only chapter 1 but the members that showed their support from chapter 6. It was definately a good time. I would also like to thank the staff from The Corner Pub for asking us back. I just wanted to say Thank you to Mr. Steve Lord for all that he has done as Chapter 1 Prez. It has been a great honor working with him, it was sad to see him step down but he did it out of love for this organization since he knew he would not be able to give the position everything it needed, again thank you BROTHER for everything you have done.

Duke, I want to congratulate you for a magnificent job with this event you held in Cheboygan! It was just great and I know it will be better next year!!! I wish I would have had the time to stay and help you as I'm sure you could have used some. Again, Duke GOOD JOB!!!
